Fishing for a Princess
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
A foddian style game where you climb platforms to try and get to the beautiful fish princess.
# Controls
Space to jump, hold arrow left or right to jump in that direction. Holding the jump key will jump you further.
# Developer speedrun
# Multiplayer
This game requires an online connection to access multiplayer functionality. If you and another player have the same map file (identical file contents) you will connect to the same server instance. Included is a multiplayer server I am hosting on fly so it could be unstable.
If you would like to turn off online features, delete the `config.toml` which will generate a config.toml file with a local config.
# Extras
The game includes a map editor (very ugly)!
It also includes a self hostable multiplayer server since beta-v0.2.0. I have a server running that is not super stable but it is included by default in the zip file.
Made from scratch using Bevy
# Could this be on Steam?
I want to release this on Steam for free but that would be expensive for an indie game. If you want to make this possible you can donate to my Ko-fi below!

I didn't really like it at first, but adding multiplayer and seeing other player struggle with me motivated me to finish it and the run was enjoyable :)
Good job!
